Great new feature on a powerful string trimmer
The new power load system on this trimmer is great. Works as easily as advertised, insert the string, pull it even and push the button. It is one of those things you can’t believe no one had some up with before. So simple, but so useful. May have to add innovation beyond belief to EGO’s tag line.

Great impression after first use.
I'm impressed after first use. The cutting action was superb and the battery lasted longer than anticipated. The balance of the trimmer was just right for me.

Love the Powerload String Trimmer
I really don't know why I didn't buy this sooner. Gone are the days of being tied to an extension cord to trim and use my blower, I'll never go back. The convenience and speed are unbelievable! I purchased the kits for the trimmer and the blower so I have two of the 2.5 amp batteries which is more than enough to do our front and back yard. I was surprised at how much power both the trimmer and blower have.

Outstanding Quality and Ease of Use
I absolutely love my new EGO trimmer! It was easy to assemble and is a joy to operate while delivering outstanding results. I bought it primarily because I've come to know and appreciate EGO's quality and performance through my purchase of an EGO blower several years ago, which has performed flawlessly. My EGO blower and trimmer share the same 56V batteries and charges, so the commonality is helpful.
